Sustainability and food production are becoming increasingly dependent on advanced optimisation, AI, and data-driven technologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, strengthen food security, and lower environmental impact across large-scale agricultural operations. At AngelQ Quantum Computing, we develop qubit-efficient quantum optimisation technologies that enable complex production, logistics, and resource-allocation problems to be tackled using practical hybrid quantum-classical workflows. One example is our collaboration with Japfa through its AI & Quantum Computing Centre of Excellence in Singapore, supported by Enterprise Singapore and the Singapore Economic Development Board. Together, we are exploring the use of qubit-efficient quantum optimisation and AI technologies for sustainable livestock farming and food-production optimisation, benchmarking quantum-enhanced approaches against existing AI-driven operational systems.
